The AXL P14 96 is a UHF RFID antenna designed for operation in the FCC 902–928 MHz band, utilizing advanced patch antenna technology to deliver focused, high-efficiency performance. It generates a hemispherical radiation pattern with beamwidths of 90° in elevation and 30° in azimuth, providing controlled coverage and reliable tag detection
across targeted areas.
This antenna offers a typical gain of 9.0 dBiC and reaches up to 9.8 dBiC peak gain, supporting strong and consistent read capability in demanding environments. It employs left-hand circular polarization (LHCP), achieving axial ratios of 2.31 dB at boresight and 3.14 dB within the 3 dB beamwidth to maintain stable readability regardless of tag
orientation.
Electrical performance includes a VSWR of less than 2.0:1 and a standard 50 Ω input impedance, ensuring efficient power transfer with minimal reflection. A front-to-back ratio below -15 dB reduces rear radiation and enhances forward directivity.
For integration flexibility, the AXL P14 96 supports SMA and MCX connector options available in flange, right-angle, and edge-mount configurations, making it suitable for a variety of embedded and industrial RFID deployments.
